SPA Tokyo Co., Ltd. (“The Head Spa Tokyo”) is committed to making our website headspatokyo.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.

1. Our Commitment to Web Accessibility

We aim to give every visitor—regardless of ability—the same level of ease and enjoyment when browsing our site and booking our services. To achieve this goal we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and use both automated tools and human review.

2. Key Accessibility Features Implemented

  • Accessibility Wizard audits run on every major release

  • Site language defined for screen-reader accuracy

  • Logical heading structure and clear tab order on every page

  • Descriptive alt text for all informative images

  • Color contrasts that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA ratios

  • Keyboard-only navigation supported throughout the site

  • Motion reduction options provided where animations exist

  • Captions or transcripts for time-based media

  • Forms and error messages labelled for assistive-technology users

3. Partial Compliance Due to Third-Party Content

Certain elements rely on external providers whose code we do not control:

  • Online booking widget (Wix Bookings)

  • Embedded Google Maps on the Salons page

  • Instagram feed in the footer

We continue to work with these providers and seek accessible alternatives where possible.

4. Physical Accessibility at Our Salons

  • Shibuya Flagship (3F, elevator available): step-free entrance from street level, accessible restroom on the same floor.

  • Shibuya ANNEX (B1F): elevator access via building lobby; no steps between elevator and reception.

  • Daikanyama (B1F): elevator available; reception located on 1F for step-free check-in.

  • Nakameguro (3F): elevator access; corridors and treatment rooms allow wheelchair turning radius.
    All salons accept service animals and offer a quiet waiting area upon request. If you need specific assistance, please contact us before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate.

We strive to respond to accessibility inquiries within five business days and to resolve reported issues within a reasonable timeframe.

The Head Spa Tokyo will review this statement and our site’s accessibility features at least twice a year and update them as technology and regulations evolve.
